About Us

ARCTICenter is an interdisciplinary center that brings together faculty, staff and students from social and natural sciences, education and humanities, as well as Indigenous knowledge holders, to understand and address Arctic change at the local, national and global scales. It is a locus for collaborative research and community engagement as it pertains to remote, northern, rural and Indigenous communities in the Arctic and beyond. The center is a hub for training the next generation of scholars at the undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels.
